Key Responsibilities
- Provide considered, person-centred clinical care to residents of a 28-bed aged care home
- Support residents who live with dementia with patience and skill
- Offer clinical services to senior members of the community
- Work within the care team on various shifts and days
Requirements & Eligibility
- Full unrestricted AHPRA registration, held as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge of, and understanding of, the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Post-graduate applications are welcomed
- Affinity with residents with dementia, and experience in supporting them or a willingness to gain it
- Excellent communication alongside clinical problem-solving skills
- An excellent and highly motivated team player
- Availability for a variety of shifts across a variety of days
- Immunisation in line with the employer's policy, including the required COVID-19 doses and annual influenza, followed by a pre-employment medical assessment
