The employer is an Immigration New Zealand Accredited Employer and can sponsor the AEWV, on the condition that you hold a Registered Nursing degree or a Level 3 or higher caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA).
The role is full-time, with a minimum of 30 hours each week across a round-the-clock roster. You would provide dignified, culturally safe personal care, contribute to care and therapy plans, keep records precise and support the nursing team. Hourly rates are tiered: Level 1 at $23.95, Level 2 at $24.06, Level 3 at $26.16, and Level 4 and above at $28.25.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide dignified, holistic personal care, including showering, dressing and support at meals, with cultural safety in mind
- Assist residents with mobility and communication
- Contribute to care planning and carry out therapy plans for people living with dementia
- Observe and report on resident progress, flagging any change in condition or concern about care promptly
- Maintain precise, appropriate and current records
- Support registered nurses within the bounds of their scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility

- A genuine passion for aged care
- Prior caregiving experience preferred, with experience in dementia care regarded as a strong advantage
