Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of liaison for patients and take phone calls when required
- Triage patients on arrival
- Prepare chronic disease management plans and perform health assessments
- Operate the recall and reminder system
- Manage stock control, ordering and the cold chain
- Undertake ECG and spirometry testing, as well as IV iron infusions and venesections
- Deliver wound management and immunisations, including childhood immunisations
- Assist with minor procedures, maintain equipment and support the general practitioners and other staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current, unconditional registration with AHPRA
- Current immunisations certificate, or willingness to complete the training
- CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Good work ethic together with organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in general practice, which is preferable
