A considered next move for a senior chef, whether you currently lead a kitchen in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh: a new neighbourhood bar in Sydney, NSW is appointing a Head Chef to open and lead its kitchen. The venue will seat 90 and centre its offer on steak and seafood.
The setting is relaxed and beachside, with an open kitchen facing the room and a bar with plenty of life. The opening menu, built on grilled steaks, seafood and sauces made in-house, has not been finalised, so the chef appointed will contribute real creative direction from the outset. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct every aspect of kitchen operations and lead the culinary team
- Bring the launch menu to completion and continue its development
- Recruit and train a high-calibre brigade, inspire it, and uphold quality, consistency and efficiency in service
- Oversee ordering, food cost, preparation systems and supplier relationships
Requirements & Eligibility
- A proven Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef
- 5+ years' experience in fast-paced venues
- Passion for cooking
- Equal passion for premium local ingredients
- Leadership that motivates, mentors and builds team culture
- Strong financial and operational acumen, and readiness to start immediately on a ground-up build
