Answering to the venue manager and general manager, you would take charge of each shift, guide the service staff and look after people and reservations. The position also carries licensing responsibility under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, and a clear expectation that every visitor and colleague finds the venues gracious, secure and polished. Requirements & Eligibility
- A current NZ Duty Manager Certificate (LCQ + Manager's Certificate), or willing to obtain
- Previous hospitality management or supervisory experience
- Great communication, leadership and problem-solving capabilities
- A thorough, strong grasp of host responsibility and alcohol compliance, and a composed, positive, proactive manner, especially under pressure
