A considered move for a chef who already knows multi-outlet kitchens: a large, modern community club on the Sunshine Coast is seeking casual chefs, with the right candidate expecting 35-40 hours a week. Its kitchen caters for dining and beverage outlets, a dedicated events and function centre and a sports bar.
Whether you have cooked for hotel banquets in Dubai or a busy restaurant in Doha, the expectations will feel familiar. You would support the head chef in delivering an efficient service, work to the Food Safety Act and the club's food safety system, and keep the quality and consistency of every dish at the highest standard across all outlets. Bistro cuisine experience is desirable.
The arrangement is staged. You join as a casual, and after an agreeable trial period the employer will consider sponsorship for the right applicant. Australian work rights are needed at the time of application.

Requirements & Eligibility
- No less than three years of commercial kitchen experience, as a minimum
- Desirable: prior work in bistro cuisine
- Polished interpersonal and communication skills of an excellent standard
- Integrity and reliability, paired with a positive commitment to service excellence
- A collaborative approach within a kitchen team
- Composure when multitasking under pressure
- Time management, which is essential to the role
- Impeccably neat, tidy and well presented at all times
- Australian work authorisation held at the time of application, as required
