A considered next step for a section chef, whether you cook in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh today. This Chef de Partie position is based in Melbourne, VIC, within a restored seaside precinct of restaurants, bars, a beer garden and function and event spaces.
The role asks for composure and craft, running a section to a consistently high standard, working under the direction of senior chefs and presenting food that turns a visit into an exceptional guest experience. You would also lend your expertise to menu development and budgets. With ongoing training and the prospect of progressing across several venues, it is a position to build a career in. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a section with consistently high standards, under the direction of the senior chefs

Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification supported by at least 12 months of relevant experience, or at least 3 years of relevant experience for those without a trade qualification
- Experience with budgets and menu development in your area of expertise
- The ability to follow direction and maintain high standards
- Enthusiasm for fast-paced hospitality and a sincere passion for food
- A desire to learn, develop and grow professionally
- Strong teamwork and communication, a guest-first outlook, pride in your craft and flexibility for a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
