A premium bespoke joinery business that has served clients in the south of New Zealand's South Island for more than 30 years is seeking an experienced Joiner after a recent retirement. Queenstown is the closest main centre.
The role is about quality at the bench: building high-end joinery and household cabinetry to a very high standard from technical drawings, planning each project carefully and resolving issues so it is delivered on time, with some installation to finish. It is permanent and full-time at 40-44 hours a week.
The employer asks for a trade qualification that includes kitchen cabinetry at a minimum, or three years of proven joinery-associated experience. Holding Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) accreditation, it can sponsor the right international candidates into permanent employment in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification including kitchen cabinetry at a minimum, or three years' proven joinery-associated experience
- The ability to manufacture household cabinetry to a very high standard
- Some joinery installation capability
- A strong work ethic and excellent time management
- Clear, effective communication with all other staff, and the ability to plan and problem solve
