Whether you are on a project in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh right now, a considered next move may be shutdown and project work in Australia with an industrial engineering, fabrication, welding and maintenance services company that operates nationally and internationally. It is seeking several experienced Coded Welders, Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers.
The role is listed in Perth, with ongoing work at locations around Australia for the rest of 2026. The next shutdowns are already scheduled: South Australia from 4 November until 2 December 2026, the Pilbara from 16 until 29 November 2026, and Central WA from 5 until 15 November 2026. Mobilisation follows in the coming weeks.
Expect shifts of 10 to 12 hours, day and night, on rosters that vary. Visa sponsorship is available alongside assistance, and the company welcomes applications from temporary residents and residents as well.

Key Responsibilities
- Producing precise welds, cuts and ground finishes, along with gouging and forming metal to the expected standard
- Keeping plant and equipment in service through maintenance, repairs and modifications
- Shaping metal on lathes, milling machines and grinders, and stepping into further duties that suit your skills, with training offered where needed
- Working long day and night shutdown shifts of 10 to 12 hours on rotating rosters
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade certificate that is Australian-recognised, where applicable
- A demonstrated career record on shutdowns
- Readiness to sit and pass a weld test, where applicable
- Openness to a range of rosters
- A valid driver's licence
- A Working in Confined Spaces ticket alongside a Working at Heights ticket
- Clearance of a pre-employment medical together with drug and alcohol screening
- A proactive, collaborative manner and uncompromising safety standards
