Maintenance Technician / Fitter
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Bundaberg, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $85,000 - $95,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
For a mechanical fitter considering a measured next step, this Maintenance Technician / Fitter role in Queensland offers varied, hands-on work in a business that is both established and growing. Whether you currently work in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, the setting would be a packing facility in the Bundaberg region, run by a horticultural company with vertically integrated, national operations and recruited through an agricultural specialist.
The role sits in a small maintenance team reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Your remit covers servicing and repairing packing line machinery and associated mechanical equipment, with a clear aim of fewer breakdowns, better reliability and efficient output. The seasons shape the workload, with additional hours and occasional Saturdays at peak times and harvest travel to support maintenance at a second packing facility in the Northern Territory.
Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates, making this a considered option for an experienced tradesperson planning a move to Australia.
A composed, well-organised English CV will serve you best: lead with your trade qualification, then detail your hydraulic, pneumatic and fabrication work. Refine your maintenance CV through Build AI CV.
