A considered next step for an accomplished cook: a growing Vietnamese restaurant group in regional New South Wales is appointing 3 experienced cooks and chefs to its kitchens, with an immediate start available.
The group values professionals with drive and composure who deliver consistent results at pace. Polished Asian cooking sits at the centre of the role.
Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) holders are welcome. Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term candidates; this rests on the business's requirements, personal eligibility, sound performance in the role and immigration rules, and is never automatic.
The role is for applicants already living in Australia who are willing to take up their allocated restaurant, with initial training possibly in Port Macquarie first.

Key Responsibilities
- Craft Vietnamese and Asian-style dishes to the house standard
- Safeguard quality, plating and portion control on every plate
- Direct mise en place and stock rotation, keeping the kitchen immaculate
- Observe food safety and hygiene procedures without exception
- Perform with poise through demanding lunch and dinner services, in step with the kitchen and front of house teams
Requirements & Eligibility
- Formal Commercial Cookery qualifications, or a relevant career in professional kitchens
- A history in Asian cuisine kitchens, notably Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or other Asian restaurants, is highly preferred
- Command of noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals is an advantage
- Composure working independently through the busiest services
- Reliability, punctuality and an unwavering commitment to high standards
- Flexible availability that includes weekends; must be currently located in Australia
