For early childhood educators weighing a considered move from the Gulf, two childcare centres in Cairns present a clear next step: 12 full-time Childcare Worker positions with children aged 0 to 6.
Whether you currently work in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, the essentials are the same. You should be studying towards or hold a Certificate III, or hold a Diploma in Early Childhood.
The employer has been cleared by the Government to sponsor appropriately qualified professionals from overseas, and the occupation features on the approved list. This rests on the visa category and its conditions, a positive ACECQA skills assessment, your English test results and a trial period completed well.
The role asks for calm, caring professionalism, from creating a warm environment and contributing to a quality curriculum to documenting against the EYLF, NQF and NQS and partnering closely with parents.

Requirements & Eligibility
- A Certificate III you are studying for or have completed, or a Diploma in Early Childhood
- Heartfelt dedication to children aged 0-6 years, matched by diligence, enthusiasm and an open, inventive mindset
- Refined communication, in writing and in conversation, of an excellent standard
- Fluency with technology for electronic programming and portfolios
- A current Queensland Blue Card
- Awareness of the regulatory framework in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards
- If successful, First Aid qualifications together with Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
