Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cut, trim and portion beef, lamb, chicken and goat to halal standards
- Handle, store and present every meat product with care
- Advise customers on their selections, accept special orders and offer cooking guidance
- Keep the working environment clean, safe and organised to food safety standards, and contribute to a team that keeps each day's operations running smoothly
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience as a butcher, with halal experience highly regarded
- Strong knife and portioning skills combined with attention to detail
- An understanding of halal requirements in meat preparation
- A customer-focused approach and good communication skills, and a reliable, hardworking team player
