A WA workforce company is recruiting qualified Boilermakers, Fabricators, Welders and Pipefitters for its clients in oil and gas, health, mining, defence, civil construction and rail, with roles in the Perth metropolitan area and in regional WA.
The work itself will feel familiar to anyone from large industrial projects. It spans shop fabrication, pipe spools and piping systems, TIG and flux-core welding and heavy structural steel, all delivered from drawings and work packs and held to exacting safety and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Approach every job methodically, starting from the isometrics, work pack, fabrication details and shop drawings
- Fabricate, fit, assemble, weld and repair in line with the project specification, holding safety and quality to a high standard
- Pipefitters measure up and build spools and piping systems, prepare each fit-up and mount supports, flanges and valves
- Welders produce TIG welds in exotic alloys, duplex, carbon and stainless steel, or FCAW welds on structural members, within the approved procedures
- Boilermakers construct heavy industrial components, tanks, chutes, hoppers, platework and structural steelwork
- Run workshop equipment safely, maintain an orderly bay and contribute to pre-start meetings and safety inspections
- Escalate hazards, incidents, defects and quality concerns promptly, and pass weld tests as they arise
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant trade certificate (Pipe Fitting, Welding Trade, Metal Fabricator, Boilermaker or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in fabrication workshops and on construction industry projects
- Confident interpreting engineering drawings and the accompanying technical documentation
- A proven record of achieving fabrication tolerances and quality requirements
- Thorough grounding in workshop safety
- Construction Industry White Card, ideally
- Welder qualifications to AS/NZS, along with rigging, dogging, EWP, forklift, confined space or working at heights tickets and first aid, would be advantageous
- Able to manage manual handling and PPE
- Prepared to work overtime and shifts when required
