A growing utility and civil works specialist in Queensland is seeking a Project Engineer to guide pipe and civil projects across the Brisbane region from planning to handover. The scope includes drilling setups, concrete, manholes and slabs.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and plan the pipeline and civil works, from sewer through to water and gas
- Develop drawings, quantities and specifications, and turn them into tender documentation
- Run programs and budgets and keep cost reporting up to date, and handle day-to-day contact with subcontractors, clients, asset owners and authorities
- Give site teams technical advice, and manage their RFIs and variations
- Be accountable for compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, and support the development of SWMS, ITPs and risk assessments
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, completed
- Hands-on experience in utility, pipeline or civil construction work
- Knowledge of the Australian Standards
- Knowledge of what Queensland water and sewer authorities require
- Understanding of in-situ and precast concrete
- Ordering of materials, plant and equipment hire
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder skills
- Possession of a current Queensland driver's licence
- Holds full Australian work rights
- Desirable: AutoCAD or Civil 3D and project software experience; White Card
