Key Responsibilities
- Take part in building and civil construction projects in several areas
- Carpentry and building: carpentry, framing, formwork, hammerhand work
- Concrete and civil work, from concrete placing to steel fixing, reinforcing, trowelling and finishing
- Bricklaying, blocklaying and masonry work
- Roofing, roof installation, cladding, floor laying, tiling and flooring installation
- Plastering, gib fixing, plasterboard stopping and painting
- Plumbing, drainlaying, pipe laying and drainage; electrical and HVAC and ventilation installation; glazing and general construction
Requirements & Eligibility
- Construction industry experience over the previous 12 months
- Able to undertake physically demanding manual work
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to work effectively within a team
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Able to safely use basic hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work in outdoor environments
