Production / Site Manager
Visa sponsorship
Manufacturing · Perth, WA, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
For an experienced production leader, this is a considered next move. An industry-leading manufacturer with a national footprint in Australia is seeking a hands-on Production / Site Manager to run its rural production site about two hours from Perth, and it wants someone from a manufacturing or mechanical background.
The position calls for a manager who leads from the floor. You would oversee output and workflow, safety, staffing and rosters, quality and stock, and the relationships with local suppliers and outside contractors. Machinery is the emphasis, so confident fault-finding is valuable. You would report to senior management on the East Coast, giving you real latitude with senior backing. The successful candidate needs to live near the site at least Monday to Friday.
The employer is open to applicants who require sponsorship, provided they offer the right skills and experience together with strong communication skills.
