A considered career step awaits an experienced Registered Nurse in Dubbo, New South Wales. A well-regarded family general practice is appointing a full-time Practice Nurse, Monday to Friday, to anchor its clinical operations. The work is varied primary care for individuals and families, including home visits for health assessments.

Key Responsibilities
- Stand alongside the medical practitioner as care is delivered
- Keep the treatment room supplied, sterile and well maintained
- Explain health matters to patients and uphold infection control and WHS practice
- Keep the practice ready for accreditation standards
- Set the clinical example for colleagues
- Decide the order in which patients are seen
- Dress wounds and deliver childhood, adult and travel immunisations
- Run corporate health checks with ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Oversee chronic disease care alongside age-appropriate and Indigenous health assessments
- Run the cold chain and train staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration held currently, together with the required CPD points
- Basic Life Support / CPR certificate held currently, or its equivalent
- A Working With Children Check
- Skilled at multi-tasking, problem solving and time management
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Certified Immuniser: regarded favourably
