An established ICU at a private Sydney hospital is expanding its nursing team and is looking for registered nurses who already know intensive care or critical care. Permanent contracts are available on full-time and part-time hours, for nurses who want a considered next step in a demanding specialty.
Visa sponsorship could be considered for nurses who hold the right qualifications, with the final position resting on personal eligibility, the employer's requirements and Australian immigration legislation. Nurses already working in Australia are the ones being considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the bedside care of patients in a critical state with intricate needs
- Carry out advanced patient assessment and keep clinical monitoring continuous
- Identify any shift in a patient's condition and respond promptly
- Oversee complex clinical situations and assist during emergency interventions
- Collaborate with intensivists, medical practitioners and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation to best-practice standards
- Foster a positive learning environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration held as a registered nurse
- Previous experience in an intensive care or critical care environment
- Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or intensive care (highly desirable)
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking and decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A collaborative approach
- A passion for patient-centred care
