Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of upkeep and repairs across the equipment fleet
- Inspect machinery and test it to identify wear and damage
- Order replacement parts and trace the cause of breakdowns
- Travel to in-field breakdowns and complete repairs on site at the busiest times
- Keep the workshop and the stock of spare parts in good order
- Coordinate with machine operators and managers, guiding junior staff on occasion
- Keep accurate written records of servicing and operations
Requirements & Eligibility
- A qualified Diesel Mechanic, or substantial related experience
- Independence and composure when solving problems under pressure
- Experience with agricultural or heavy machinery, which is preferred
- Dependability through peak seasons, with clear communication and good organisation
